oneIgloo takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.

What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how oneIgloo handles the personal information we receive from you, either directly or indirectly. Directly received personal information is information that you provide to us in the process of establishing an account: your name, address, email address, phone number, and any other information which is not otherwise readily available. Indirectly received personal information includes log records, email, and payment records.

This policy does not apply to other sites or search engines which may link to your web site or forums, or to any third parties that are not controlled or managed by oneIgloo.

Account Registration

When you sign up with oneIgloo, you will be asked to provide your name, address, email address, and phone number. We will ask you for the names of the domains and email addresses and aliases you wish to establish. This information is protected according to oneIgloo's Information Sharing and Disclosure policy, described later in this document.

Logged Information

All visitors to oneIgloo's site or forum, or to those of the domains it hosts, have their IP address, HTTP referrer information, and requested page logged. Additionally, forum login information may include name. Any information posted by a forum member should be considered publicly accessible.

Logins and actions via SSH, SCP, or SFTP are recorded.

Use of Encryption

Any transfer of personal information (especially passwords) is protected by SSL. The submission of credit card information to PayPal is also protected by SSL. Webmail transactions are encrypted between your browser and oneIgloo, but be aware that unless email is explictly encrypted prior to being sent, it is normally transported "in the clear" (without encryption) between mail servers.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We will not rent, sell, or share personal information with any other company or agency without your permission unless legally required to do so by subpoena, court order, or legal process.

Note that personal information may be released in order to establish or exercise our legal rights or to defend against legal claims or if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of oneIgloo's terms of service, or as otherwise required by law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated at any time. oneIgloo will notify you of significant changes by posting an announcement in the oneigloo-announcements Google group. (The posting of the announcement will trigger the sending of an email notification to all members of the group.) In addition, a notice will be posted on oneIgloo's home page.

Cookies

A cookie is set and accessed by oneIgloo whenever webmail.oneigloo.com is used.

In the future, other cookies might be set and accessed by oneIgloo.

Third parties such as PayPal (utilized by oneIgloo for receiving payment), Speakeasy or PairNic (to whom oneIgloo refers customers) may set and access cookies.
