Cron Usage
Cron (or crond) is a daemon used to execute commands which have been scheduled by a user using the crontab utility.
Depending on the process executed, the impact to the shared hosting environment can be substantial. Before scheduling any process, you must notify oneIgloo of your intent, so that we may assess the impact.
Usually, to avoid even a short-term impact to a server, we will require the process (the "job") to be executed using the nice command.
